ESIC Medical College GULBARGA was established on 2013. The institution conducts training of medical undergraduates, nursing undergraduates, dental postgraduates and paramedical staff. Patient care forms an integral part of the training curriculum and the affiliated hospitals utilize the expertise available at ESICMC. The institution is responsible for providing the entire pool of specialists and super specialists by giving them in-service training. Thus ESICMC GULBARGA forms the backbone of high quality professional medical care being provided to north Karnataka.
The college is located in an environment friendly campus stretching over 50 Acres in Gulbarga in northen Karnataka. The campus is provided with all essential amenities. Apart from lecture halls, laboratories, demonstration rooms, museums, auditoriums, the students are provided fully furnished accommodation. The faculty and staff are also provided accommodation in campus.
The campus has agymnasium and facilities for all outdoor as well as indoor sports. The teaching departments of ESICMC are well staffed with dedicated staff members. Lectures, practical, demonstrations and clinics are well planned and conducted round the year.
Students in the clinical terms receive training at the affiliated teaching hospitals. The College of Nursing was established in 2015. With an annual intake of 40 students who are selected through an all India competitive examination.
