The BDS course offered by Amrita School of Dentistry commenced in September 2003 and was inaugurated by Smt. Sushma Swaraj, the then Minister for Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. A State of the art advanced dental care clinic provides exclusive specialist care. The students are exposed to maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation carried out in the Department of Prosthodontics. A great deal of emphasis is placed on community - oriented dental outreach programs.
  • Oral Surgery
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Conservative Dentistry
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Diploma in Dental Mechanics
    Duration: 24 months
    12th / Intermediate / HSC passed with science(Phy, Che, Bio) subjects
  • Pedodontics
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Oral Medicine
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Oral Pathology
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Public Health Dentistry
    Duration: 36 months
    Graduation (B.D.S.),completed with one year of internship from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
  • Prosthodontics
    Duration: 36 months

  • Periodontics
    Duration: 36 months
